Account Executive Apprentice

The position will be to support with general office administration which will include but not be exclusive to the following:

  • The role will support the team delivering our contract with Lidl
  • Being the first point of contact for all visitors to The Line Agency
  • Answering telephone
  • Responding to email enquiries
  • Meeting & Greeting visitors and clients
  • Stationery & Stock control
  • Daily Post
  • Scanning & Filing
  • Diary management for the team
  • Supporting with the companies social media presence

Working Week:
Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30 pm with 1 hour for lunch. The nature of our work is that we often have extremely tight deadlines and as such we require a degree of flexibility, matched with a “can do” approach.

Future Prospects:
Upon demonstrating the correct level of personal skill and commitment, as well as successfully completing the apprenticeship programme, our apprentice would be offered the opportunity to continue their personal development within our team. There are various routes this could take from joining the design team to office manager, this really is a job that you can make your own.

As well as being well organised, motivated and willing to learn, the successful candidate should also demonstrate an ability to build rapport and appreciate how this can lead to successful long term relationships with clients. The candidate needs to be very presentable, have a friendly manner on the telephone and in person, and have a strong attention to detail.

This person needs to have a real drive and initiative. The employer is looking for somone who can see a problem and fix it themselves. For the right person there is a real opportunity to join a growing team and be fundamental to its development. Although this is not a creative role we value ideas from our entire team so a creative flair and interest in the sector would be beneficial. A desire to continue with your own development, to include progressing your qualifications beyond the apprenticeship is preferred. In our business deadlines are inevitable and the workplace can be stressful and pressurised, so we’re looking for someone who can remain calm, think on their feet and be intuitive to the needs of their colleagues at these times. We are looking for an individual who is curious about the role and the sector and wants to learn and develop.

GCSE Maths & English – A to C

Good knowledge of ICT. We use Macbooks so some experience would be an advantage.

Important Information:

As mentioned previously at times we need to work to extremely tight deadlines, we would want the successful candidate to want to support the team at these times. On very rare occasions we work at the weekend, time will be given in lieu, additional hours would more likely happen during the week to complete a task or help with meeting a deadline, therefore a flexible approach is key.

The training is delivered by Colchester Institute. You will not be required to travel to college as the training element is all delivered on site via weblink and assessor visits.
