Production Apprentice – Norwich Print Solutions

  • To support with all aspects of business administration
  • Meeting and greeting clients
  • Booking in jobs
  • Some IT work
  • Booking couriers, including overnight deliveries
  • Liasing with suppliers
  • Hand finishing, collating and packing jobs
  • Taking deliveries and checking against packing notes
  • Dealing with queries face to face, telephone and some emails
  • Some domestic duties around the office
  • Adhere to all aspects of health and safety at all times
Working Week:
Monday – Friday 8am – 5:30pm
Future Prospects:
Upon demonstrating the correct level of personal skill and commitment, as well as successfully completing the apprenticeship programme our apprentice would be offered the opportunity to continue their personal development within our team. Ideally the successful candidate will eventually move into print production.

Location is accessible by public transport, but ideally the successful candidate would be able to drive

Communication, Initiative, Good standard of Literacy & Numeracy, Customer Service, Team Working
As well as being well organised, motivated and willing to learn, the successful candidate should also demonstrate an ability to build rapport and how this can lead to successful long term relationships with clients. A keen attention to detail is essential.
GCSE Maths & English – A to C
Important Information:
Although we would not ask for the apprentice to regularly do overtime but on occasions clients do ask for jobs to be completed last minute and as a team we would work together to get the job done. We would be looking for a candidate with this kind of attitude.
The apprenticeship framework is delivered by Colchester Institute. You will not be required to travel to college as the training element is all delivered on site via weblink and assessor visits.
