Financial Administrator Apprentice

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable apprentice who is looking to start a rewarding career in Financial Services.

A commitment to learning and personal development is a must, as the right apprentice would be offered the opportunity to join a well-established organisation.

Initially, the role would involve assisting the current team with administration duties, such as preparing meetings, collating documents , updating records on our back office system and assisting with reception duties, such as answering the telephone and greeting clients upon arrival.

During the course of the apprenticeship we will aim to work with out apprentice to develop the knowledge around different aspects of Financial Services, for example, Retirement Planning, Investment Advice and Protection. We would expect the successful candidate to attain industry standard qualifications throughout the course of the apprenticeship and beyond.

The professional nature of the position will require an individual with excellent presentation standards and commitment to the needs of our clients.

Some duties may involve a prolonged period of time working at a computer.

Working Week: Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 5:00 Friday 8:30 – 2:30

Future Prospects: Upon demonstrating the correct level of personal skill and commitment, as well as successfully completing the apprenticeship programme and attaining a professional and recognised qualification in Financial Services, our apprentice would be offered the opportunity to continue their personal development within our team.Looking forward, we would then aim to support our apprentice with their ongoing development and knowledge, looking towards other areas of Financial Services.

Successful candidate will spend a year working towards a Providing Financial Services Level 2 qualification. The training is delivered by Colchester Institute. You will not be required to travel to college as the training element is delivered on site, via weblink and assessor visits.
